Overview
Suskewiet is a single-player game about counting finch songs at an imagined village contest. It has no account, no login, no advertising, no analytics, no third-party SDKs and makes no network calls. Everything you see — the songs, the villages, the characters — is generated on your device. This policy explains exactly what little data the app touches and where it stays.
Data we collect
None. Suskewiet does not collect, transmit or sell any personal data to us or to anyone else. There are no servers behind this app and no way for us to see how you play.
What is stored, and where
- Season progress and results. Your stroke counts, accuracy, village rankings and Ear School results are saved only in a file inside the app's own storage on your device (Application Support), plus a few small settings values in iOS's standard app preferences (UserDefaults). None of this is readable by other apps or sent anywhere.
- Teller name. If you type a name for your teller card, it is saved the same way, on-device only.
- Teller portrait photo. If you take a photo with the camera or choose one from your photo library for your teller card, that single image is saved only inside the app's own Documents folder on your device. It is never uploaded. It leaves your device only if you personally choose to share your result card through the system share sheet — at that point you control where it goes, just like sharing any photo.
- Sunday reminder. If you turn on the optional reminder in Settings, a local notification is scheduled directly by iOS on your device. We never see that you turned it on, and no data about it leaves the device.
Camera and photo library access
Suskewiet asks for camera and photo library access only to let you choose a portrait picture for your own teller card in the Club Room. The app only requests access at the moment you tap to add a photo, and only uses whichever photo you pick for that one purpose. If you decline, the teller card simply shows a default painted avatar instead.
Notifications
Suskewiet only asks for notification permission if and when you switch on the Sunday reminder yourself in Settings. If you deny permission, the app shows a note and a link to the Settings app instead of repeating the request.
Children's privacy
Suskewiet does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect personal information from anyone at all.
